The University of Szeged will start a new Intellectual Property Law Programme in the Fall Semester of 2013. The training will offer participants a chance to deepen their knowledge on copyright, patent and trademark law from experienced Hungarian and foreign professors and practitioners. The programme offers students to deepen their knowledge on the history and modern feathures of intellectual property law. The list of courses include compulsory and elective lectures, including classes on the international and European Union framework of copyright, patent and trademark law. Courses focus both on the historical aspects of IP and actual, vital EU and global issues. Students are required to take 3 exams. As an addendum, students will visit the leading Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, collective rights management associations, and IP related law firms during the semester.
