‘where knowledge matures’
The unique Congress Centre in the region, opened in December 2004, gives place to national and international conferences, university and business meetings, cultural and charity programmes, such as exhibitions or concerts as well as to receptions and banquets. The capacity of the Centre can take up to 1,300 persons at the same time, as it has a Congress Hall enough for 685 persons, 3 Lecture Halls, 3 Seminar Rooms, a Video Conference Room, an Exhibition Area and a 1,000m2 Atrium.
There is an underground garage in the basement for 180 cars. The whole building is air-conditioned and suitable for disabled people.
